I had the same problem - after that i reinstalled my system, did all the 
microsoft updates (forget about the required DCOMs, MDAC and other sh**t 
that wil scr@w up your system.
And then i installed cypheus again and never had a problem.
if you really don't feel like reinstalling your system, you can install and 
configure ghostscript and redmon - it helped in my case.
