Re: [hylafax-users] Fax Queue Time
I've looked into it a bit closer and done more testing and it seems that
faxq _NEVER_ processes the submited faxes. They just sit there until the
kill time expires and then they fail. Another possibly interesting thing I
noticed was that all of the jobs had 'totpages' set to 0 in their senq
files.... maybe that's why faxq is ignoring them??

Look at /etc/hfaxd.conf:
RetryTimeMap "30 60 60 180......"
Look at /var/spool/hylafax/cinfig.ttyX:
MaxDials: 5 # default=12
MaxTries: 5 # default=3
NoCarrierRetrys: 5 # retry 5 times on no carrier (def.=2)
JobReqNoCarrier: 180 # default=300
#JobReqProto: 15 # default=60
JobReqBusy: 120 # default=180
#JobReqDataConn: 60 # default=300
#JobReqNoAnswer: 60 # default=300
#JobReqNoFCon: 30 # (AT+FCON failed) default=300
#JobReqOther: 15 # default=300

Is there any way to change the speed with which hylafax picks up and sends
submitted jobs?? Some of my faxes are staying in the sendq for up to 3 hours
before being sent.. not good if it needs to be in today and it's quarter to
5 already....
I checked all the config files I found listed in the man pages, but there
seems to only be modem configuration info in them.. where should I be
looking?
Thanks
Toby
