No idea. I didn't find it looking for "-z" in the sendfax
manpage, but then again I'm not entirely sure which version I'm
running here. Or how to find out, either...

Can it really be that no hylafax application can do the "print
version and exit" trick?

Anyways, dpkg says 4.1.1-1.

About updating the manpages in general, I'd suggest that the 
"main manpage" (ie, what you get after typing "man hylafax")
should give you a brief overview of all hylafax applications,
very much like what you get under 
http://www.hylafax.org/man/index.html
At any rate, that would have helped *me* a lot in getting
started.
