[hylafax-users] Waiting for modem to come ready, after sending a fax with 3COM/USR

Hi all... I was following the previous thread about this problem (in the
archive) and it seems to have died. Has anyone yet found a solution? The
problem I am referring to is where faxgetty is stuck on "Waiting for modem
to come ready" after a fax is sent (but functions just fine if used to
receive only) using a 3COM/USR Sportster fax modem. Respawning faxgetty gets
it going again.

I have been pulling my hair out over this problem. On a side note, does
anyone have a suggestion for an external/internal modem that works with
linux (natively) and HylaFAX without any of these snags?
