Not sure if you are speaking of this "problem":
My Modem is displaying "Waiting for modem to come ready" using faxstat
if it's idle. It's a MODEM "ELSA, AACHEN (GERMANY)" "MicroLink
28.8TQV"/"Ver. 1.08 vom 05.05.95". Faxes get send nearly immediately
though.
