No problem, perl and sendfax is your friend ;-)

Yes, but if a paket filter is in between, make sure that this paket
filter can handle the ftp protocol on a nonstandard port.

I think 2 modems should be enough.

AFAIK there exists drivers for active AVM-Cards on Linux.

Yes. You can add modems without problems.

AFAIK if you submit one fax with several -d options HylaFAX will
store this fax only onece.

Depends mostly how much graphic is in your fax. Check how long it take
to convert your document from postscript to tiff/g3 via ghostscript.

But normaly a P166 should be enough.
