[hylafax-users] Delay 3000 ms

Hi List.

I'm wondering what is a 3 sec delay modem places between ATZ and ATE
commands:
Jun 25 12:51:08.27: [21455]: DELAY 75 ms
Jun 25 12:51:08.34: [21455]: DELAY 1000 ms
Jun 25 12:51:09.34: [21455]: <-- [4:ATZ\r]
Jun 25 12:51:09.37: [21455]: --> [2:OK]
Jun 25 12:51:09.37: [21455]: DELAY 3000 ms
Jun 25 12:51:12.37: [21455]: <-- [5:ATE0\r]
Jun 25 12:51:12.38: [21455]: --> [4:ATE0]
Jun 25 12:51:12.38: [21455]: --> [2:OK]

I've seen lots of log examples at this list, but I've never seen something
like this delay.
Modem - Comtrol RocketModem II. Here is part of config file:

#
# Modem-related stuff: should reflect modem command interface
# and hardware connection/cabling (e.g. flow control).
#
ModemType: Class1 # use this to supply a hint
ModemRate:              19200           # rate for DCE-DTE communication
ModemFlowControl:       rtscts          # default
#
ModemNoFlowCmd: AT&K0 # setup no flow control
ModemHardFlowCmd: AT&K3 # setup hardware flow control
ModemSoftFlowCmd: AT&K4 # setup software flow control
ModemSetupDTRCmd: AT&D2 # setup so DTR drop resets modem
ModemSetupDCDCmd: AT&C1 # setup so DCD reflects carrier (or
not)

ModemDialCmd: ATDT*67W%s # Dial *67 and wait for signal
ModemWaitTimeCmd: ATS7=20 # Wait 20 sec before obtain error:
No carrier
ModemResetDelay:        1000
ModemEchoOffCmd:        ATE0
ModemATCmdDelay: 0 # integer, delay before sending modem an AT
cmd (ms)
ModemBaudRateDelay: 0 # integer, delay (ms) after setting baud
rate
#
ModemMfrQueryCmd:       !Rockwell
ModemModelQueryCmd:     !RC288DPi
ModemRevQueryCmd:       ATI3            # product information

Could someone explain for me about this delay and how I can change it?

Thanks in advance,
Vlad Shalamov.
