[hylafax-users] solaris 8 and 4.2

System:
SunOS xxxxxx 5.8 Generic_108528-09 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraAX-i2
Hylafax:
HylaFAX-client-4.1.2-sparc.pkg
downloaded,
i get:
ld.so.1: sendfax: fatal: libstdc++.so.2.10.0: open failed: No such file or 
directory
what I have is /usr/local/lib/libstdc++.so.3.0.2.
I have installed:
application SMCgcc3        gcc

I suppose that this is compiled with dynamic libraries and gcc 2.9, so I 
tried to compile myself, but I get a:
*** No rule to make target `../util/libfaxutil.a', needed by xxxx.

without libfaxutil.a nothing gets compiled.
As it is rather difficult to change the compiler on that machine, can someone 
suggest a way to have hylafax working?
