Yeah, I'd tend to believe that Faximum couldn't stay in business with that
kind of problem.

I'm personally managing five HylaFAX servers, at the moment. The one of
the five that handles the largest volume has five modems (three internal
PCI, two external). It receives anywhere from 50 to 100 faxes (usually
multipage legal) per week day. Once per week it faxes out a batch of bulk
faxes (usually about 500) to the clientelle. I am using HylaFAX 4.1.1
installed via RPM on a RedHat 7.1 system - Duron 600 PC. I have no
problems to speak of. My send failures are around 1% (failure to receive
response to EOP), 0% if you factor retries. I attribute most, if not all
of the send failures I have to errors on the receiver's end like
out-of-paper, an intentional disconnect, etc.

However, I've heard others on this list who have sent more than 10,000
faxes daily and those who receive about 1,000 on a daily basis.

Lee.
