Check the etc/setup.cache file for the SENDMAIL variable definition, it 
will tell you which file it tries to execute. Then, su to user uucp and 
try to send an email to yourself using the same parameters as the notify 
script: -t -ffax -oi and see if XMail has problem with anyone of them.
