[hylafax-users] FreebSDm and Courier Vanythign questions

I'm trying to get Hylafax runing on a FreebSD STABLE system. I'm using a
Coirier Vanything modem.

Firts can anyone recomend a set of swith setings for this modem? I wan to
do inbound/outbound faxing, inbound.outbound ppp conections, and inbound
tty style logins from this modem.

Second, I have installed using the port, and run the suplied daxsetop
script. It was able to identify the  odem. Except for disk loactions, I
primarily took the default setings. At tthis point, the mdem does not
answer the phone. It powers up with the AA light on, but shortly thereafer,
it looks like it recives a comand string, and the AA light goes off.

Cany anyone sugest what I can check to diagnose what;s wrong here?
