[hylafax-users] error with MPS (52)

I'm faxing to 4 machines. Recently, one of these machines started
failing after receiving the cover page. The log looks like this:

Sep 03 14:13:02.40: [16551]: SEND send MPS (more pages, same document)

Sep 03 14:13:02.40: [16551]: <-- [9:AT+FET=0\r]
Sep 03 14:13:23.92: [16551]: --> [8:+FHNG:52]
Sep 03 14:13:23.92: [16551]: REMOTE HANGUP: No response to MPS
repeated 3 times (code 52)
Sep 03 14:13:23.92: [16551]: SEND: No response to MPS repeated 3
times; Giving up after 3 attempts to send same page
"docq/doc1067.cover;31", dirnum 0

I found that error code 52 relates to multi-page send failing when the
fax machines can't "train". Is there
some configuration that I can try on my end to alleviate this problem,
or is it a problem on the receiving
end only?
