Re: [hylafax-users] Bad faxrcvd parameters

What do you mean when you say it printed fine? Are you using a special script to send all faxes to a printer? Or did a client receive the fax and print it? I am a relative newcomer to Hylafax and I am not familiar with the Bad exit status message, but it seems really bizzarre that it would work manually but not automatically.

I have done this & the fax printed fine.  Thus, my suspicion that my input parameters must be incorrect.

Additionally, if you run faxrcvd from the command line and pass it those options you will probably get some more constructive output.

Subject: [hylafax-users] Bad faxrcvd parameters

Hello--

We are trying hylafax-4.1.b2_2 on FreeBSD v4.3 as a fax server.  I receives great, but the messages log states:

Jun 25 13:43:07 server01 FaxGetty[60848]: Bad exit status 077000 for "bin/faxrcvd "recvq/fax00002.tif" "ttyd0" "00000014" """

As you can see, the quotes are misplaced (the one after the first parameter "bin/faxrcvd is missing.  This creates empty quotes after the first parameter.

Is there any way to correct this in a config file, or is this in the source?

TIA for any help.
