[hylafax-users] ps2fax conversion fails
Version: Hylafax4.1beta3
OS: NetBSD 1.5 (i386)
Modem: Zoom 14.4 Ex (AFES - V1510b - Rockwell RPI (TM) MODEM Z20)
I can't send faxes (can't receive them either, but first things first).
/var/log/messages says:
---------------
node1be1e# tail -f /var/log/messages
(snip)
Jun 18 02:35:42 HylaFAX[4231]: Filesystem has BSD-style file creation
semantics.
Jun 18 02:35:45 FaxQueuer[4185]: SUBMIT JOB 3
Jun 18 02:36:41 FaxQueuer[4233]: JOB 3: CONVERT DOCUMENT: exit status
0xff00
Jun 18 02:36:44 FaxQueuer[4185]: NOTIFY: bin/notify "doneq/q3"
"no_formatter" ""
---------------
I then tried running ps2fax manually from /var/spool/fax and I got this (I
took the ps-file from /usr/pkg/share/examples/ghostscript, so it wouldn't
contain any errors):
-------------
node1be1e# pwd
/var/spool/fax
node1be1e# bin/ps2fax ~wouter/alphabet.ps

Does anybody know what could be going on? I noticed the following strange
line in /var/spool/fax/etc/setup.cache:
DPSRIP='/usr/pkg/libexec/ps2fax.exe'. That file obviously doesn't exist. The
rest in that file seem to be ok. Faxsetup is (offcourse) run.
Regards,
Wouter
