[hylafax-users] multi-modem questions

Greetings. I have just installed HylaFAX 4.1 beta 3 on a system running Red
Hat 7.1. I need to create a fax server that has a bank of (around) 10
faxmodems. To run tests I installed a US Robotics 56k Faxmodem on ttyS1 and
it works fine. Then to test a second modem I attatched a US Robotics 33.6 to
ttyS0 and it refuses to work correctly. First it wouldn't accept faxes
unless I had just configured it using faxaddmodem. It would accept one fax
and then stop accepting faxes. Then I removed that modem and replaced it
with a different US Robotics 33.6. That modem wouldn't accept faxes at all.
Finally, I swapped the two modems so the 56k is on ttyS0 and the 33.6 is on
ttyS1. The 56k continues to work but neither of the 33.6's will function.
Can anyone offer me some advice? the DIP switches on both 33.6's are the
same as the switches on the 56k, and the DIP settings are the same across
all the modems.

Also, is there any way for me to have HylaFAX dump the TIF files into
specific directories based on which modem is receiving a transmission? I
need to catalog the faxes in a database based on who is faxing us. I can't
have a big pool of TIF files from 10 different customers all in one
directory.
