[hylafax-users] Phase B/C, 50%height

Hello Hylafax List,

 

I am using: : "HylaFAX v4.1beta2-251 under Linux SuSE 7.1 with no gcc and libtiff 3.5.5-93; Dr. Neuhaus (Sagem) Cybermod 28.8 V.34 with LC 28.8 TI  DNT 1175 V.0.00.0680 - D firmware".

 

When sending a fax to a analog fax machine, it is swallowing most of my lines after the 10th line, it is somehow compressing the fax, but only in height. I do also often get a "Communication failure during Phase B/C" with that analog machine.

When sending faxes to a fax2mail provider the fax looks good, received as tiff.

 

When having this Phase B/C failure, I get the following log:

Why do I have a timeout?

Where can I change the setup to get full pages (modify the height)?

 

I tried already to fax with high resolution, I changed the speed to 9600 in setup.modem, I tried to do changes in config.ttyS0 but nothing worked.

 

The ps files look good when viewing them, somehow my files get corrupted between ps and faxmachine.

 

Thanks a lot for all efforts, I do not know what to do anymore. I am using a Dr.Neuhaus Cybermod 28.8 V.34 Modem. Is it the modem?
