Hey,

if you don't use Suse, I don't know, but if you do :

It's a problem of awk. I describe it like i did it:

Download
http://linux01.gwdg.de/suse/suse_update/special/mawk/mawk-1.3.3.tar.gz

Compile and install it.

Edit /var/spool/fax/etc/setup.cache and point to the
installed mawk binary. 

Ready.

Thank Sascha Tetzel , who gave the advice regarding mawk on
the 26. of april 2001.
