If you're only ever getting Fax connections on this line, then you can turn
off the Adaptive Answer.  In your config file, change the command that says
AT+FAA=1 to AT+FAA=0, or you can change that command to AT+FCLASS=[1|2|2.0]
(which really isn't an ideal configuration, but it works).
