I cannot see a configured modem 
on your faxstat -s output
your output should a least show one modem
like:
HylaFAX scheduler on falcon.hagos.de: Running
Modem ttyS3 (+49.711.7880XXX): Running and idle
Modem ttyS2 (+49.711.7880XXX): Running and idle
Modem ttyS4 (+49.711.7880XXX): Running and idle
Modem ttyS5 (+49.711.7880XXX): Running and idle

so run faxaddmodem to configure your modem(s)
