[hylafax-users] [Error] Sending PDFs
Hi All,
Any assistance appreciated. THanks in advance.
I'm using hylafax-4.1beta2-7rh6 (rpm dist) and USR Message (Voice) Modem.
Receiving works like a charm however when I'm sending files (PDFs), the
pages are only half the page size. The interesting thing is that the
"half-size" is not being shrinked propotionally. Eg. the top 1/3 of the
page looks ok but the rest of the page (2/3) seems to be shrinked in a space
1/6 of the page size.
The PDFs I'm sending are A4 in size, approx. 612x792. I've tried the
following:
* using the following sendfax switches
-m
-1
-s A4
-E
* specifiy Use2D: No in /var/spool/fax/etc/config
* checked /usr/share/fax/typerules for the conversion util and pdf2ps is
used. Manually run pdf2ps and view the result on gv and looks right
and the receiving fax machine always reports an error (though the translog
doesn't seem like it, eg:
