I have a zyxel u-1496e with firmware v6.11 modem . I noticed that Hylafax recommends

firmware v6.19 or higher for this modem. Is this necessary to upgrade this old modem,

it would cost $50 plus shipping to accomplish this and not sure that it is worth it.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
