Yes - just been through threads etc - cant see anything relevant.

Never been this stuck before with open-source.
What do I do now - can I log a bug or something ?
Otherwise I guess I have to look at another package I suppose - any
recommendations ?

Have you refered to:
http://www.hylafax.org/howto/install.html#ss2.7
and followed the mail threads there?

It refers to Solaris 7, but maybe it will work the same.
