[hylafax-users] False busy signal detected

Hi!

I have HylaFAX v4.1beta2 on Linux-Mandrake 7.1 with the following details:
* hylafax-4.1beta2-7rh6
* libtiff-3.5.5-2mdk
* ghostscript-5.50-9mdk
* ghostscript-fonts-5.50-5mdk
* mawk-1.3.3-1mdk
* libgr-devel-2.0.13-14mdk
* Modem: US Robotics 56K Fax Internal

A phone number I'm trying to fax to has a faster than normal ring sound.
HylaFAX reports it as a busy signal and hangs up.

Here's the latest entry from /var/spool/fax/etc/xferfaxlog:
11/17/00 13:48  SEND    00000019        ttyS2   4       ""     
roger@localhost.rogerpbrown.com "223-1351"      ""      65535   0       0:12   
0:00    "Busy signal detected"

Is there a workaround for this?
