[hylafax-users] RTN problem presumably with accents !?

hello

I've read a lot about "SEND recv RTN (retrain negative)" transmission
error,  but the problem still arises !.

When I send a fax  (actually faxmail, using faxmail + postfix)  with a
cover page,  a text body (of the mail) and a postscript attached file
everything seems to work right, but a soon as I include accents in the
body of my mail(fax) I get he following error log:

and the second page keeps being emitted three times in a row ... and
this twice resulting in a cover page and 6 times the body of my
mail(fax)

There is still a difference with the other RTN error reported in the
mailing list, here I never get any " [5:ERROR] " messages neither any
"ERROR" string occurence in my logs .

any idea of what is going on ?, is it a question of phone line
(hardware) or encoded document (soft) ?

PS: my modem is a MULTI-TECH SYSTEMS MT2834ZDXI/0316D , I am running
HylaFAX (tm) Version 4.1beta2 on a RedHat linux 6.2 , I lowered the
transmission to 9600 and added in  config .ttyS1  Class2DCCQueryCmd:
"!(0,1),(0-5),(0-2),(0-2),(0,1),(0),(0),(0-7)" as I saw it recommended
on the list
