Re: [hylafax-users] Receive Fax problems
Ok, it looks like most of these are already on my system, but for some
reason aren't being found...
I just tried to install the new version of libtiff and when i went upgrade
from rpm I got a lot of conflict messages. I then decided to uninstall the
3.5.4 version but got a lot of dependency messages.
What should I do, uninstall 3.5.4 first, ignoring the dependency messages,
or upgrade to 3.5.5 ignoring the conflict messages?
Sorry if this is beginner stuff, but I am.... I managed to get pppd and
chains working, but this is all getting too hard...

Ok, I got the newest rpm's and removed the old ones, now, when I try and
install the new Hylafax i get a message saying that it needs tiff, gs_lib
and smtp_deamon, so looks like its back to the net to find yet more
software....
I have ghostscript installed and libtiff, but here we go again.
Why does it take 4 days to get anything working on a Linux box (and this is
only day 3 :( )
