Hallo fellows,
I have a big problem to get hylafax work with my modem elsa microlink =
56k pro, latest firmware version 1.85. When I installed hylafax version =
4.1beta-61/66 I could not send out fax of my workstation, although =
everything was configured in the right way. The modem tells only =
'running and idle'. The modem does not want to hook up. The outgoing =
e-mail was only queed to the sendque of hylafax. When an inbound ring of =
a fax-mashine comes up, the modem hooks up but the connection brokes =
with errors. Since I have installed hylafax version 4.1beta2-93, I can =
send an outbound fax from my workstation without problems. Everything =
works well. When an inbound ring of a fax-mashine comes up, the modem =
does not want to hook up. When I start the modem to hook up manually =
(faxanswer modem), the fax-mashine and the modem tries to get a =
connection, but the data-transfer brokes with errors. I think that this =
is not a problem of the modem elsa microlink 56k pro but may be a bug of =
hylafax. I would be happy to get some help for my problem! For details, =
