[hylafax-users] "Listening to rings from modem" - hylafax does not answer a fax call.

hi everybody!

  i have a prob running hylafax as a faxserver:
i use a rockwell-modem  which is connected to an telephone system. 
when i fax intern with an ordinary faxmachine to hylafax it answers the 
call, and makes 
a perfect faxreceive.
when i fax from outside the telephone system, in 
"/var/spool/fax/status/modem" is the
"listening to rings from modem" message, but hylafax does not answer it.

the telephone system signals internal calls like this "ring, ring 
.................. ring, ring ............... ring, ring .........."
external calls like this: "riiiiiiiiiiiiing 
............................... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiing 
............................ riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing"

so my clue was, that hylafax might have probs with this?

is there anyone, who can help me ?
