post script merge

Can anyone recommend a good program that will merge two postscript documents
into a single page?   I need to merge two postscript files into one before
submitting it to HylaFAX.  I tried a2ps, which creates a single ps file, but
still prints as two separate pages.  OS is Red Hat 6.1 and the latest
HylaFAX.
