Determing Time it took to send a fax

Is there any way, using faxstat, to determine the amount of time it took
to send a job? NOT the TOTAL time, including retries, etc, but JUST the time
that they were on the phone with a valid connection. We're trying to figure
out how much long-distance time each fax uses, so the amount of time spent in
retries, etc is irrelevant.

I thought setting the JobFmt string with a %z might be the way, but it
seems to be blank sometimes, which is unacceptable. So, I guess I'm also
curious why this would be blank, but also the way it measures the time to send
the job.

Does anyone else have any suggestions for this?
