flexfax: FaxGetty and ppp?

Hello,
	when I connect to the internet, I am getting a FaxGetty comment in the
middle of all my ppp stuff.  What's it doing there.  Sometimes for no apparant
reason, I have problems in that, I connect just fine with kppp (ppp frontend in
KDE environment) but my email and Netscape can't find the server.  And I can't
ping, even though I'm connected.  Rebooting is the only thing that helps.  Could
this be causing it?
