RE: Cant detect my modem

HI...it's me again

after reconfiguring the hylafax.( now i'm using 4.1 beta 1),the result
still the same which is I cant see the note that say the modem is
running and idle. However the Hylafax server is running..so there must
be something wrong with initialization of the modem. This is what i got
from FaxMaster.

The HylaFAX software thinks that there is a problem with the modem
on device /dev/modem that needs attention; repeated attempts to
initialize the modem have failed.

Consult the server trace logs for more information on what is happening.

how?..thanks
