Elsa Microlink 56k & redhat
Hello!
While trying to move our faxserver from an SUN Solaris system
to a Redhat 6.1 Linux box I encountered a strange problem with
sending sms messages to the german d1 network (using ixo protocol).
Here's the log:

Instead of "ID=" it only receives "D". Strangely enough, trying this scenario
"by hand" using cu -l, I see the correct string. Look's to me like a hand-
shake problem between modem and serial interface, but what ... ?
The fatcs:
- Redhat 6.1, PII 400MHz, Elsa Microlink 56k, hylafax-4.1beta2 (no add.
patches)
- used different Modem configs (including the one from Elsa) -> same Problem.
- everything else works fine (sending faxes, sending sms to d2 using ucp
protocol)
- tried different baud rates -> no success
- tried xonxoff vs. rtscts -> no success
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance.
