Code 54 (was: flexfax: faxes cutting off!)

Thanks for the reply.  I tried updating Ghostscript but no luck.  There's no
hyla.conf file on my machine (RH 6.1) that I can find.  I did find a file
/usr/share/fax/hfaxd.conf, into which I placed the "PageChop: none" setting,
then stopped & restarted Hylafax (/etc/rc.d/init.d/hylafax stop, then
start), but that didn't help either.

However, the emailed session transcript shows this apparent error:

REMOTE HANGUP: No response to EOP repeated 3 times (code 54)

I'm unable to determine if this is what's causing faxes to be cut off.
Sorry if these are lame questions but I am so close yet so far.
