It also works on SunOS: but it turns the MS document into HTML, which
then needs to be converted to raw text, tiff, or Postscript. And it
doesn't do nice things with fonts, images, or all the funky little
"features" some people spend their time on instead of the message.
(*SNARL*). Excuse me, but the next resume or paper I see in 15
distinct fonts, all of which could be replaced with 10 point Courier
and lose no meaning whatsoever, is going to make me quite upset.
MS Word documents tend to have this, especially their templates.
They also do not fax well....
