I found out what was wrong, although I don't have a good fix for it.
I have 4.1b1 compiled under UW7.1.0.
The problem is with the sys/socket.h file in UW7.1. It has this line:
#define send _send
which redefines the send function in several files in faxd. I changed
all of these to "send_msg" and it compiled cleanly, and it even works!
I'm sure there is a better fix than that, but I don't know C++ well
enough to fix it. Could this be a problem with GCC 2.8.0? I don't have
2.8.1.
