Hi,

yes, read a good book about networks/dns and the RFC for the
ftp protokoll (the HylaFAX protokol is an extended ftp protokoll).

If you configure your hostname here as localhost, then the HylaFAX
server tries to build a data connection to host 127.0.0.1 !
