Re: hylafax and mgetty
Sorry,
my OS : Suse 6.0 Linux
Hylafax 4.0 pl2 binary from Suse
Mgetty : 1.1.18 experimental test release
it seems that i have solved (understand) the problem:
mgetty was running (after a try to configure a ppp dialin),
mgetty picked up the line and answered the incoming fax.
The entries in /var/log/messages were:
Jul 15 14:49:50 slave isdnlog: Jul 15 14:49:49 * Call to tei 127 from ? on
FAX Laden RING (3.1 kHz audio)
Jul 15 14:49:52 slave isdnlog: Jul 15 14:49:52 Call to tei 90 from ? on
FAX Laden CONNECT (3.1 kHz audio)
Jul 15 14:50:40 slave isdnlog: Jul 15 14:50:40 Call to tei 90 from ? on
FAX Laden HANGUP ( 0:00:48) ()

Jul 15 14:50:44 slave FaxGetty[449]: <-- [15:ATE0V1Q0S0=0H0\r]
...
So it was my mistake ! 2 gettys on the same line
I am sorry !! thank you for your help ,
