flexfax: OK, how do you solve the EOP repeated 3 times problem

Hello List,

I've tried 2 different distributions of hylafax. One source code build
and one rpm build. I've tried 3 modems. All sportsters, one 28.8, one
X2, and one V.90.

Every single fax I've sent (except those with the Sportser 28.8 - those
worked fine) is delivered beautifully, however, the following is
recorded by hylafax, and the fax is requeued to be sent again.

Your facsimile job to 43144712 was not sent because:
    No response to EOP repeated 3 times

- I have tried running the X2 and V.90 Sporsters as Class 1. (They
wouldn't transmitt at all as Class 1)

- I've tried putting Use2D:   No    in config.ttyS0
- I've tried putting Class2NRCmd:   AT+FNR=1,1,1,0    in config.ttyS0

I have read over 100 posts in the archives about this problem. There did
not seem to be a definitive answer. How can I fix this problem?
