flexfax: Help !!! Whfc client Problem

 Hi,
 I have installed hylafax 4.0pl1with gcc 2.7.2 on sparc running
 solaris 2.7. I can send and receive faxes from the unix server. I
 installed WHFC 1.0.5 client software on windows 95. Whenever I start 
whfc on windows machine  after some time  it comes up with following 
error UNABLE TO CONNECT TO HYLAFAX SERVER
 in pop up window and error "CANNOT BUILD DATA CONNECTION :
CONNECTION  REFUSED at the bottom of the whfc window.
 I can telnet to the hylafax server and login to the server with user 
 name and password from windows 95 machine. All the required dlls and
 winsock 2 have been installed on client. What could be the problem?
 
I tried all sorts of combination in hosts file no luck.
I cannot figure it out whether the problem is with client or server.
