Mgetty? Why are you using mgetty? You should be running faxgetty on
this, with HylaFAX.

Check the manual and maybe call the manufacturer about ModemSetupAACmd:
many modems require things like:
	ModemSetupAACmd:        AT+FCLASS=0+FAA=1        # adaptive answer
