3com/USR Prof Msg Modem: pages squished/fax aborted
Hi,
recently, I started using Hylafax for sending faxes but I was not able
to use it successfully.
My setup:
Hylafax V4.0pl2
SuSE Linux 6.0 with some updates
3com/USR Professional Message Modem, latest firmware (V.90)
I encounter the error mentioned in the FAQ: pages appear squished and
the session is aborted abnormally. The workaround support
Class2DDISCmd: AT+FDIS
is not appropriate since the USR works in Class 2.0 (Class 2 is not
implemented). If I use the workaround, I get the log
[snip]

Here is the faxlog of an unsuccessful transmit without the workaround
