SysV init patch for Linux, SysV, SunOS
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
OK, I re-written the patch. I've used K05 and S97 instead of the
original K80 and S80 used originally, and I've used a SYSVINITDIR set
to auto-search among /etc/init.d and /etc/rc.d/init.d, and
SYSVINITSTART and SYSVINITSTOP to check for the existence of rc?.d
directories as appropriate for the different OS's. The differences
also propagate correctly to the etc/* files, and I've updated the pkg
files appropriately.
This frenzy permits faxsetup to use the "hylafax" init script correctly
for SunOS and other systems without the default init.d directory,
and lets the SYSVINIT stuff be set from config.local as needed.
*PHEW*. What a frenzy of coding!
