Maximum ModemRate?
I have a USR 33.6 Faxmodem Sportster running in Class 1, with faxgetty(1)
for fax I/O, PPP I/O, and UUCP I/O. Changing config.cua1 from:
ModemRate: 38400
to:
ModemRate: 57600
makes the modem go away-it can't initialize, (can't deduce modem type.)
Is it possible to use this at 57600, or is this some kind of a violation?
Thanks,
John
BTW, the system is Linux, hardware flow control, config.cua1 is attached.
The system works reasonably well at 38400.
