Cannot set privileges

Hi everybody, 

    I am new to this mailing-list. I am trying to run hylafax v4.0pl1 on
my linux box (SuSE5-1). Trying a faxstat, I get :

	Login failed: 550 Cannot set privileges.

I can't figure out what is going wrong.  

	-rwxr-xr-x   1 root     root       198664 Dec  1 01:04 faxq
	-rwsr-xr-x   1 root     root       287644 Dec  1 01:04 hfaxd

  Any idea ?
