flexfax: fax2ps again

I want to run HylaFAX on my Linux box running S.u.S.E.-Linux-5.0.0#0. The 
problem is that the fax2ps program always crashes with a "Segmentation 
fault". Now I got the source of this program, compiled it and - the result 
is the same. No way to convert a received fax into PostScript.

What can I do to make the program work? Has anybody got the same problem?
