Phone/Fax combination lines
I'm running hylafax on a RedHat Linux 4.2 (Biltmore) machine (Pentium
133), with a USR 33.6 Sportster modem. I've been running paging for
several months now without a problem, as well as some ocasional faxes.
Recently, i've run into a problem faxing to fax machines that share phone
lines with a company's phone. (ie. Same phone number for voice and fax.).
It seems as though hylafax is phoneing the number, getting several rings,
then connecting. But it drops the connection before anything happens.
The log clipping below is from one of these calls, and saysno carrier is
the problem, though we can hear it handshaking.
Anyone have any ideas?
