Re: MultiTech MT2834ZDXV recommendation?



I heard very good things about it from Dave from Ameritech. But he is now
trying to use an AT&T modem. Dave could you clarify this point for all of
us?

Why not use MultiTech?

Another point. Does anybody know of any fax modem that can detect the
tri-tone operator intercept tones, to distinguish between a busy/no answer
line and a wrong/disconnected/trunk busy/etc. number. Without this
feature, there is no way calls can be handled correctly.
