Hi:

   The other message already gives you solutions to your problem.
UUCP-type locking is very important to avoid conflicts of several programs
using the same modem. The other command (AT+FAA=0) is the one that sets
the modem back to data mode. Changing the value will allow you to switch
through the different fax classes.
