USR Sportster troubles?
Hello -
After testing the HylaFAX installation packaged with my BSDI system,
with an internal USR Sportster V.34+ FAX, and failing modem
initialization completely, I noticed that v3.0 beta111 added some
workarounds to USR bugs, and decided to update the software. However,
after installing v4.0pl1 (and configuring the modem with all defaults)
I still have problems. The modem now does initialize, dial, and even
connect, but the session ends with "Unspecified Transmit Phase B
error", with what looks like garbled data from the remote in the log.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (RSVP directly; I'm not
on this list.)
