There is another Windoze software package called WinHfax ( I am not sure
about the exact spelling/capitilization ).
It is a tad better the WinFlex, as it supports a phonebook &, more
importantly, the new protocol.

I have been using it intermittently & it seems to work fine, though I don't
think it supports Win3.1 ( or 3.11 ). Check it out anyway, maybe it's been
improved.
